Laboratory for phytopathology

Head / DARKO JEVREMOVIĆ

ANALYSES

The phytopathology laboratory analyzes plant material of fruit trees and grapevines for the presence of phytopathogenic viruses, viroids, phytoplasmas and fungi.
Detection and characterization of pathogens is performed using serological (ELISA) and molecular methods (RT-PCR, IC-RT-PCR, PCR, nested-PCR and Real-time PCR).
Identification of fungi is carried out using the method of isolation and identification using conventional methods, as well as using molecular methods.
The laboratory conducts all analyses in the certification process of fruit tree planting material, as well as analyses for the needs of border and internal phytosanitary inspection
